Changes for Better:
An Explanation to the Community
To all of our loyal fans, members, supporters, and donors.
As any great project, Zelda Reorchestrated has gone through many struggles. Even though we face these problems, we realize art is not created easily; it comes as a result from persistence and diligence. The ZREO project has never been easy for us to govern, nor has it ever been considered a light task. This weekend, ZREO announced it was shutting down. This was a false statement and came as a result of a complete misunderstanding. The ZREO team as a whole needs to explain the recent crisis, apologize to our fans, as well as ask them for their forgiveness and support in this trying time. We will give you both the long version, and the short version. The short version goes as the following: Misrepresentation and miscommunication. The longer version, however, is a bit more complicated.
The recent crisis brought to light a misrepresentation on the management’s side, miscommunication between staff and friends, users and fans, and everything in between. For the project’s sake, and everyone involved in the crisis, we would like to put the issue to rest. The guilty have amended, wrongs have been corrected, and enemies became friends. The project’s immediate and unexpected halt was due to a miscommunication between ZREO staff and The Heavens staff. People made the wrong choices and reacted on pure emotion. Unfortunately, some will be lost and they will be missed. We are aware that some fans have just had it with our seeming lack of dedication. We have no words to describe how sorry we all feel, ZREO Staff, as well as The Heavens staff.
On the lighter side, ZREO will be continuing. We will be working diligently for the next few weeks to get things going as smoothly as they were before the crisis. We are currently welcoming new people onto the ZREO staff, with more to come. So if you are interested, please contact us. New, exciting features await the site in the coming weeks.
Narrowing down on another note, The Heavens will no longer be a part of ZREO. The Heavens will make their own home elsewhere and ZREO will continue as its own entity. Both staffs, ZREO and The Heavens, would like to apologize to HTLOZ for the war that broke loose on their forums due to the recent crisis. It was bad form on all parts. Though we apologize, we fear that we have alienated ourselves from them, and will have to continue on without their allegiance, unless we hear otherwise. If anything changes, you will find it here.
To conclude, ZREO as a community project sincerely apologizes for putting the fear into our fans and visitors that we were going to discontinue the project. It was a huge mistake to make that announcement and more details will be explained on our new forums in due time. But in the mean time, we hope you continue to enjoy our music and listen freely to the sounds of legend we all have come to love.
-The ZREO Team

Great news, let the project continue…. hopefully death#4 wont ever happen.
