Open Symphony!!!

Big day today! Today we are releasing the first movement of Open Symphony. Open Symphony is a full-fledged symphonic work for full orchestra with music that spans the entire Zelda collective works. Why “OPEN” Symphony? “Open” is an allusion to the Open Source software movement. In general, open source refers to any program whose source code is made available for use or modification as users or other developers see fit[1]. Like Open Source, we are releasing not only the final product (the songs), but were also releasing the source code to them (the sheet music). The sheet music is free to download, and features the full score, and individual’s parts. You are free to download and use as you like! If you plan to perform this work or any part of it, we request permission, mainly just to let us know that our work is being appreciated.

We are releasing the Symphony as sections, or Movements. New sections will be released in order at the end of each month until the symphony is complete. Stay tuned and enjoy!

That said, we are also welcoming a new transcriber to the team, Mathazzar! Give him a warm welcome everyone - he’s the man behind Open Symphony!!

wow! Just wow! I honestly, didnt expect that to happen…..
you guys are awesome! I’m not all too good at playing instruments myself, but still this is awesome! :p

I can only imagine all the awesome remixes that might spring from this. You guys are truly the best on the net now!

Wow Fire. I think you’ve left me at a lack of words. I’ll say that this proved me guess wrong but I’m gland it did ’cause this is loads betters.

Well, the links for the 160 and 320 kbps Versions are the same. Is there no 320kbps version or are the links uncorrect?

But good song, I love it. And the idea with the sheets is preety cool, too.

this is excellent stuff, I think this is seriously my favorite project that you guys have done this far, I don’t know, this and the field suite I am much looking forward to.
